We’ll Carry Their Suffering
The bombs dropped on Gaza
Can be heard across the border
The bombs dropped on Gaza
Can be heard all over the world
The bombs dropped on Gaza
Can be heard in our nightmares
The only thing louder than the bombs
Are the screams of Palestinians
The scream of Palestinians who are begging the world to listen
Screams that echo in our hearts
Or at least those who have hearts
Screams that beg the question
how could you have let this happen
Screams that will forever echo the void
The void of humanity
We all heard them
We all hear their cries ringing in our ears
Yet the world is silent
as if it is a void
The world fell silent
And they tried to get Gaza silenced
They hoped their screams wont reach us
But it did
The screams for their families who might not hear them over the explosions
The screams for their children who might not be able to hear them anymore
They have no one to scream to anymore
They have no one to scream to except God
The world refused to listen
So they can only cry to their creator
The world might have ignored their voices
But God heard them
We heard them
Their voices might have been cut off
But their voices will never stop echoing
It will never stop echoing in the void
The void of the world’s silence
It will never stop echoing in our ears and hearts
We will always hear them
Even if their cries stopped
And we couldn’t hear their cries anymore
WE will never stop crying
We will carry the crushing weight of the rubbles crushing their bodies
We will carry their voices and scream them back at the world
We will carry their voices and scream them back at the world
In a hope our screams will haunt whoever has Palestinians blood on their hands
Haunt theirs nights and days until they are in the grave and beyond
